Parade of new communal equipment was held for the first time in the history of Mariupol during the celebration of the City Day today. Hundreds of Mariupol families came to look at an unusual parade and thank employees of communal enterprises for their everyday work of making Mariupol cleaner, greener and more comfortable.
The parade was attended by Vadym Boichenko, the Mayor, and Victor Remsky, the Deputy Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, together with the citizens of Mariupol. More than 75 units of the new communal equipment solemnly traveled to Theater Square. There were equipment of Komunalnik, Mariupolavtodor, Mariupol public utility company of green construction, Municipal Enterprise of Water and Waste Water Treatment, buses of Mariupol Trams and Trolleybuses Administration, social services, ambulances, patrol police and fire rescue cars.
Victor Ramsky said that the parade of communal equipment in Mariupol invoked in him a sense of pride.
“We show to all of Ukraine that there is a peaceful life here and the city with the region is being updated technically as well as in other things that we are doing and will do together. There is no city in Ukraine like our city. Even Kyiv haven’t purchased this year as much equipment as Mariupol. We are proud of this. This is just the beginning”, - the Deputy Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration said.
Mariupol people also liked the parade and an exhibition of new equipment especially. Children and adults gladly sat down at the wheel of cars, looked at new equipment and received a lot of positive emotions.
