During the presentation of dedicated program of the sport development in Mariupol called “Be strong. Inspire. Be first”, the team leader of “Shakhtar” football club,Dario Srna , has communicated with children from resettlers’ families. Children took autographs and made selfies with him.
Small Mariupol citizens looked forward to the meeting with “Shakhtar” team leader and sang a football team’s hymn. Many of them visit football clubs and are interested in a sport life of Ukraine in an active way. That’s why the expectations for them were twice exciting.
“The life of football is a beautiful life. You play in front of grandstand of many thousands and you are cheered. But to reach it you have to live by football and believe in yourself. Each of you dreams about being a footballer but you have to work hard, to study well, to listen to your parents and know foreign languages’, - Dario Srna admitted during the meeting.
The footballer answered the questions that were interesting for children with pleasure. The team leader told about the beginning of his sport career, childhood icons and about the main goal in his life.
He shared his impression upon the city. ‘I have played for many times in Mariupol. I hope it will grow and everything will be OK in our city’, - the team leader emphasized.
