There is an ongoing repair of the road on the traffic way of Olimpiyska Street. Oleksandr Holtvenko, the First Deputy Mayor, checked the quality of works performed by Mariupolavtodor employees.
Previously, there were pits and potholes along this part of the roadway. According to automobilists, the road was in an emergency state and was not suitable for traffic. The equipment is used there now, and employees of Avtodor, who are engaged in laying a new asphalt covering, also work there.
A road section of 755 meters in length with bays will be completed here by current repair.
“Before the current repair of this part of the roadway starts, the Road Commission and all utility companies have confirmed that the communications under the road are in good condition. Neither Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment nor Heating Network plans to carry out any works here in the next five years”, - Oleksandr Holtvenko emphasized.
Avtodor employees will work on this facility for the next week up to the road marking and cleaning of the drainage system.
We should recall you that Mariupolavtodor repairs roads in all neighborhoods of the city, including the ongoing repair work on the road section along 9th Aviavidvizia and Zelinsky Streets. In addition, employees of the company simultaneously carry out pit repair of the road and pave the yards of the condominiums according to the ‘Cozy Yard’ program.
